My work |
I liked this graphic design by Prada because it is a very simple and it had nice colors. I first began the recreation of the magazine design by working on the left side of the page. I added the yellow square to the top of the page then added the different fonts and the two images of the men with their arms crossed. I then went on to the right side of the page by inserting the black background. I then added the words in the background and I used the transparency tool on Canva.com to make the text look similar to the text in the magazine. Finally I added the the final details with the chalk elements on canva.com to replicate the lines near the text on the original image. Throughout the recreation I used many different fonts to replicate the original image in the magazine. The fonts I used were Bio Rhyme Ex, Times New Roman, Lazord Sarif, Open Sans Extra Bold, and Waymar Script. |
The original Prada ad |
I think that I did pretty good trying to recreate the original image from the magazine. I struggled trying to create the distressed look on the font behind the yellow, I tried my best however it did not work the best however kind of worked.
