Nicolas M Grid Mood Board

During my second field trip with our Graphic Design class, I found many designs while walking around Newark. Their were many that I liked and many that didn't call out to me as much. But two in particular I pick to make because I feel that I could do a good job with the design that was in front of me. I picked the Newark's Ironbound fitness and Empanada's Brazil, because when I look at them a lot of idea started to flow into my brain and I felt like I knew exactly what to put and do. During my first design it didn't look as good as I wanted it to, but Dr. Lansang gave us a tool in canva

that helped. It made it easier to put the picture right where I wanted  them to go. And it so much better then before.

When I was designing I looked up a picture that matched the colors that were use in the pictures. While making our designs we had to find the hex code for the colors. A hex code is a six digit combination of letters and number. This letters and number determent the color, for example #FFFFFF is white and #100f0f is a type of black. I got the code from the pictures because canva has this thing were you go and find the color that you want and it tells you the hex code right under it. Their are a lot of hex code and I think that canva has almost if not all of the hex codes out their.
