| Inspiration ad |
Today the thing that inspired me was a Rolex ad in a magazine catalog. When using the Image on the left to recreate my idea of it I searched up the different styles of watches that I could use as an advertisement. I then choose a watch that would fit the design idea I had in mind and faded/blurred it so that it wouldn't take control of the whole image. Next, I used the words from the magazine and the skills from last week to line up the words despite the size differences. Because our goal wasn't to copy the same image but make something different I used the different colors and designs that would fit what I wanted it to be.
The different fonts I used were Alegreya and Archivo black. overall as this being the third design I've created I feel as if I'm understanding more and becoming more comfortable with using different techniques. my work is not the best but it is an improvement from the first
piece of work I did.
