First, the trip was really long and hot, but I learned new things. When we first came out and walked 3 minutes, we passed the Essex County college bridge and parking lot. I saw big letters that represent Essex County college and Rutgers university. I thought the letters on each university building represented each university well. And after walking 10 minutes, we saw the Newark museum and huge building. I did not know that Newark was the biggest city in the U.S, but I saw big buildings and very historical buildings. Lastly, we took a rest in the park., and I saw some remembrance stones on the floor of the park. When I walked around the park, I did not realize that the stones were on the floor, but as I sat down on the bench, I saw it right away. I think the role of positioning the stones on the floor is to show the stones as people sit down, which I thought was a very creative idea.
