Jon-Paul - My first walk around Newark

Last wednesday, I went on a “field trip” throughout Newark to find bad designs around the city. One of the designs that we saw was this one ramen shop named “fukurow.” The only problem was that they could’ve picked a better font, and it ended up reading as… something else. Another bad design that we ended up seeing was this huge public art installation in a public park. The problem with that one though was that it was so big that you couldn’t actually see all of it. Another problem with it though was that it was double sided, so there were letters on each side of it, making it even more difficult to read what it said.
